Reporting to the CEO, your role will be pivotable in the development and maintenance of a truly invaluable organisation<\/p>\n<p>37.5 hours per week &#8211; Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.00 with occasional evenings and weekends<\/p>\n<p>JOB SUMMARY<\/p>\n<p>The role provides high quality professional executive assistance to the CEO, which includes some governance support for the charity and its Board of Trustees.<\/p>\n<p>The postholder will place a high value on personal integrity, will bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will manage key stakeholder relationships.<\/p>\n<p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Coordinate and maintain the diary of the CEO including organising meetings, appointments, travel arrangements<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Support and work closely with the CEO to maximise their productivity and effectiveness through scheduling and management of activities<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Build a network of effective and positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Effectively manage senior internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the CEO to ensure positive engagement<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Identify, anticipate and prepare information requirements for meetings, appointments, presentations and follow up inward and outward requests for information, reports and correspondence<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Undertake the preparation of all documents, correspondence and presentations in a timely and professional manner, including proof reading and editing where appropriate<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Interact positively with all levels of staff, volunteers, supporters and visitors<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Organisation and management of external visits and meetings<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Maintain electronic document filing system for CEO-specific or sensitive areas of work<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Manage or support any projects as requested by the CEO<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Support the CEO to undertake governance administration for Board meetings and committees, including collating agendas and papers, circulating information in a timely fashion, and preparing and distributing accurate Board minutes<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Arrange Board and committee meetings including liaison over dates, booking and setting up meeting venues<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Undertake timely filing of Charity Commission and Companies House returns<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Maintain an up to date Register of Members, Interests and document conflicts and their resolution<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Maintain a register of gifts and hospitality for staff and trustees<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Support the Board in its compliance with the Charity Governance Code, establishing and monitoring action plans<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ensure rolling Board agenda is updated to support any action points<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Maintain awareness of changes to charity and corporate governance and prepare briefing papers for the CEO and senior management<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Coordinate inductions and governance-related training for trustees<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Maintain SharePoint libraries and sites<\/p>\n<p>Benefits<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 28 days holiday plus BHs<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Contributory company pension with 4.5% employer contribution<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Health Cash Plan \u2013 cash back on opticians, dentists and more<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Group Income Protection Scheme<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 EAP \u2013 financial, physical and mental wellbeing support<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Access to exclusive discounts from thousands of retailers<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Life Assurance &#8211;
