Milk Education is working with a primary school based in Oldham who are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to work in across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This Teaching Assistant role is to work as a general Teaching Assistant supporting the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom. You must be confident in supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in a group capacity as and when required to do so.<\/p>\n
The hours of work are 08:30 am- 3:30 pm and the hours will be Monday to Friday with a 30-minute lunch break. The school has asked for the same person for this role to ensure they have continuity for the children in the class. This Teaching Assistant role will involve supporting the class teacher with anything they need support with including keeping all children on task and ensuring that the work they doing is being done to a good standard. You will be responsible for getting resources ready for the day and ensuring the classroom is kept clean and tidy each day.<\/p>\n
