The underlying objectives are to deliver  a stable, resilient, and scalable cloud platform that empowers the group to deliver business applications when and where they are required. You will be expected to use your skill set as a cloud analyst to move the group towards our goal of application and  infrastructure modernisation through transformation. You will be joining a highly skilled and motivated group of SME&#8217;s who are happy to both share knowledge and learn from others. The group are very much technology focused and are looking to expand through  acquisition. We are currently undergoing a period of digital transformation that is being led by IT, so this is a very exciting time to join.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accountable for the support and development of hybrid cloud infrastructure <\/li>\n<li>Accountable for the support of the cloud infrastructure across the group<\/li>\n<li>Supporting DevOps and Development Teams<\/li>\n<li>Work with the Architecture team to deliver strategic roadmaps<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that Security considerations are embedded in all work undertaken<\/li>\n<li>To work with 3rd party support services as required<\/li>\n<li>To deliver technical designs to remediate against identified problems<\/li>\n<li>Provide design authority expertise to ensure that solutions are fit for purpose and delivered to an agreed standard. <\/li>\n<li>To work with NOC to ensure all aspects of the infrastructure and are actively monitored<\/li>\n<li>To ensure regular health checks and appropriate patching is carried out<\/li>\n<li>To ensure right level of documentation is created, available and maintained for the environment<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that that all backup services for the group are appropriate and maintained accordingly<\/li>\n<li>To continue to develop the groups technical capabilities through the use of existing and emerging technologies<\/li>\n<li>The ability to learn new technology and to also share that knowledge with others<\/li>\n<li>Excellent understanding of the commercial and business impact of IT outages with the business<\/li>\n<li>Carry out performance\/capacity planning for the IT Infrastructure <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Competencies:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience of Technical problem solving from a complex environment<\/li>\n<li>The ability to automate what are traditionally iterative manual tasks<\/li>\n<li>Excellent problem management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong prioritization skills<\/li>\n<li>Solutions driven<\/li>\n<li>Passion for technology<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple streams of work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>High levels of tenacity and ownership<\/li>\n<li>Team player<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of all relevant security standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Key Skills and Knowledge:<\/strong><br \/><strong>Essential<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cloud Engineering \/ networking experience with Azure<\/li>\n<li>Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripting including ARM templates, JSON and Terraform<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to and use of containerization technology (Kubernetes)<\/li>\n<li>Use of API Management tools including APIM, Apigee<\/li>\n<li>Use of DevOps tools including GIT, Azure DevOps<\/li>\n<li>Windows AD inc Powershell<\/li>\n<li>Office 365 and Azure AD<\/li>\n<li>MS Windows Server 2012-2019<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Other cloud platform experience e.g. AWS, GCP<\/li>\n<li>Azure Cloud Services and components including Data Bricks, Data Lake, Function Apps, SQL<\/li>\n<li>Experience of Microsoft Service Fabric in Azure<\/li>\n<li>Backup technologies including Rubrik<\/li>\n<li>Hyper Converged Data centre experience<\/li>\n<li>Citrix Netscaler Gateways<\/li>\n<li>CheckPoint Firewalls<\/li>\n<li>Storage Area Networks<\/li>\n<li>Modern monitoring platform knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Compliance and Security Technologies<\/li>\n<li>Professional qualifications that support your experience<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of the ITIL framework<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Application Deadline:<\/b> 12\/02\/2024<br \/>\n<b>Contract Type:<\/b> Permanent<br \/>\n<b>Submitted Applications:<\/b> 0<\/p>\n<p><a class='btn btn-block btn-primary theme-btn-primary' style='text-align: center;
