Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Study and interpret technical documents, such as technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams required to complete tasks.
Read and confirm the parts list, interpret measurements, and verify specifications.
Determine availability of materials and tools.
Assemble components and ensure that all parts are fitted correctly.
Wire components to wiring schematics.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance and report and resolve assembly line issues.
Keep the workspace clean.
Adhere to health and safety requirements of the company and the industry.
Conserve resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste.<\/p>\n
Skills Required:<\/p>\n
Exceptional hand-eye coordination and physical condition.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing or sitting for extended periods.
Ability to use hand tools and machinery.
Knowledge of industrial manufacturing quality control regulations.
Excellent eyesight, including depth perception and the ability to differentiate between colors.<\/p>\n
Wireman Tasks:<\/p>\n
The Electrical Wireman will be required to study and interpret technical documents, such as technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams. Responsibilities include reading and confirming the parts list, interpreting measurements, verifying specifications, determining the availability of materials and tools, assembling components, and ensuring that all parts are fitted correctly. The Wireman will wire components to wiring schematics, diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, perform repairs, and carry out preventive maintenance. The role also involves reporting and resolving assembly line issues, keeping the workspace clean, and adhering to health and safety requirements.<\/p>\n
Wireman Qualifications:<\/p>\n
An electrical apprenticeship would be an advantage, but the minimum skills below are a must:
Exceptional hand-eye coordination and physical condition.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing or sitting for extended periods.
Knowledge of industrial manufacturing quality control regulations.
Excellent eyesight, including depth perception and the ability to differentiate between colors.
Experience:<\/p>\n
Minimum 3 years of experience in panel wiring or equivalent completed apprenticeship.<\/p>\n
