{"id":3350,"date":"2023-12-29T15:32:03","date_gmt":"2023-12-29T15:32:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coinsrev.com\/info\/asset-management-project-manager\/"},"modified":"2023-12-29T15:32:03","modified_gmt":"2023-12-29T15:32:03","slug":"asset-management-project-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coinsrev.com\/info\/asset-management-project-manager\/","title":{"rendered":"Asset Management Project Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Employer:<\/b> Lorien<br \/>\n<b>Salary:<\/b><br \/>\n<b>Date Added:<\/b> 29\/12\/2023<\/p>\n<p>Asset Management Project Manager<\/p>\n<p>Our client is looking for highly skilled Asset Management Project Manager to join their team for a 6 months initial contract.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop strong relationships with key business stakeholders and project resources to elicit requirements and subsequently update on requirements evolution in a business focused way.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and document risks, issues and dependencies that are likely to the project and target operating models.<\/li>\n<li>Support the development of sustainable, commercially viable change solutions with clear linkages to project goals and objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Develop appropriate documentation to be utilised when engaging with external vendors to assess their capabilities and any gaps versus the requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Appropriately document vendor responses and engage with selected vendors to arrange and manage follow up sessions documenting the outcomes and any business recommendations for subsequent approval.<\/li>\n<li>To have appropriate mechanisms in place to regularly assess the progress and effectiveness of the analysis effort, taking interventions as needed to deliver work to agreed timescales and quality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we&#8217;re looking for<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Skills<\/p>\n<p>In addition to standard business analysis skills and process modelling requirements, the role holder should also possess the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A natural concern for order, including attention to detail and high standards for quality.<\/li>\n<li>Strong facilitation skills required to drive out requirements, risks, issues and dependencies.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to document operating models, decision trees and other organisation design templates.<\/li>\n<li>Able to construct clear and simple documents outlining the project requirements to vendors and to elicit their responses to our requirements in a structured and quantifiable manner.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable experience in business analysis, applying business analysis tools \/ methods \/ techniques across a range of medium and large-scale projects and programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to take ownership of deliverables and to work independently to tight timescales within a high energy team environment in order to deliver exceptional business value.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to quickly develop effective commercial relationships with third parties and to collaborate across a wide range of stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Confident when communicating with senior internal stakeholders to present findings and to gain consensus and support for recommendations and next steps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience in banking, pensions, asset management and highly regulated environments.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working as part of a project team, eliciting requirements, engaging with third party vendors and developing and agreeing operating models to support business activity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Industry Experience<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5&#43; years working in the pensions and finance \/ asset management industry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Delivery Experience<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of and exposure to third party tender processes and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Experience of using Microsoft office tools to an advanced standard<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Desirable<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Direct experience working in fund performance focused teams or projects.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of 3rd party performance reporting vendors and their platforms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Personal Attributes<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Problem solving, analytics and resolution skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Professional approach to communicating and engaging with external suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across teams.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to learn new technologies.
