We are also proud to be a Disability Confident employer.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for an <strong>Electrician<\/strong> to join the Electrical team in this new role. As an <strong>Electrician <\/strong>you will provide all types of Electrical repairs, to tenanted and vacant properties, with a customer service quality driven repair and maintenance service.<strong> You will be covering the South Yorkshire area.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Outline of Key responsibilities of the Electrician&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To carry out all types of Electrical repairs to both tenanted and vacant properties in accordance with job tickets, opti-time appointment slots, specifications and contract drawings, to good practice, Building Regulations etc as appropriate and applicable.<\/li>\n<li>To carry out work with an ethos of &quot;Right First Time&quot; always completing a repair where practicable in one visit, with good quality workmanship and good standard of performance.<\/li>\n<li>To organise your work to minimise lost or non-productive time, highlighting pro-actively if you have too much \/ too little work so that work can be re-allocated, extra work allocated etc as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>To assist in addressing the peaks and troughs in workload by working overtime and at other times when requested by prior arrangement with your manager. To participate in a stand-by or call-out rota.<\/li>\n<li>To use your initiative to diagnose and undertake a repair which may be different from the job required or where the job required was of a locate fault type nature. Obtaining approval beforehand as appropriate where the job is more expensive than anticipated,  will take much longer than anticipated etc.<\/li>\n<li>To work to a consistently high standard of workmanship in line with service specification, service standards, safe working procedures and as part of a team to ensure the most efficient use of time, materials and resources etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We are looking for someone who has&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Electrical qualification &#8211; NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Installations or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of BS7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations<\/li>\n<li>Full UK Manual drivers licence <\/li>\n<li>Experience of working competently in all disciplines normally expected of a qualified<strong> Electrician\/ Electrical Technician<\/strong> along with other associated building disciplines as required and as appropriate<\/li>\n<li><strong>Relevant post qualification experience<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Experience of working in a customer service environment<\/li>\n<li>Experience of maximising number of jobs completed and repairs completed in one visit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>In return, we are offering the successful candidate in the <\/em><strong>Electrician <\/strong><em>role:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Covering the <strong>South Yorkshire area<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Salary:<strong> &#163;34,061 <\/strong>per annum &#8211; <strong>Upon successful completion of the probationary period, the salary will increase to &#163;36,585.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Use of company van<\/li>\n<li><strong>27 days annual leave<\/strong> (rising to 32 over 5 years&#8217; service) &#43; bank holidays<\/li>\n<li>A flexible working environment, with a range of family friendly policies<\/li>\n<li>You will be working 37 hours per week. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Additional earning due to call out rota. <\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Wide range of professional, and personal development training opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Attractive pension scheme<\/li>\n<li>A range of financial, health and lifestyle benefits including cycle to work, vehicle leasing and financial advice<\/li>\n<li>To view the full range of our benefits click on the Employee Benefits Link <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>THG reserves the right to close this vacancy early if sufficient numbers of applicants are received.
