Our client is looking to hire an Accountant who is looking to add to their already progressive career to date. <\/p>\n
General purposes:<\/p>\n
Working within a well supported organisation, the successful candidate will be required to meet deadlines in supportive environment and will be responsible for accurate financial reporting.<\/p>\n

Key deliverables:<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Monthly management accounts including standard cost variances, accruals\/prepayments, Balance Sheet Controls and Profit and Loss controls\/analysis, explanations of the variations versus Budget and prior year
\u00b7 Prepare timely and accurate daily, weekly and monthly reporting including Margin analysis with understanding of variances by accounts and different reveune streams
\u00b7 Proactively highlight issues\/variances which require action
\u00b7 VAT Returns, HMRC declarations
\u00b7 Be a point of contact for the audit process including responsibility for seeing the financial statements through to signing
\u00b7 Preparing the budget for the entity alongside other SLT
\u00b7 Identifying and implementing improvement to the company’s reporting processes
\u00b7 Any ad hoc projects or requests required by management and to support the SLT<\/p>\n
Requirements – experience:<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Previous Finance management experience
\u00b7 Ability to empathise with and influence Leadership Team
\u00b7 Familiar with BoM, labour rate, standard cost revaluation, indirect cost absorption
\u00b7 Ideally have a minimum 5 years’ experience
\u00b7 Preferable – CIMA\/ACCA Qualified \/ Part Qualified
\u00b7 Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, with willingness to understand the underlying data
\u00b7 Strong IT competent using Microsoft Office, high level Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot tables, Vlookup, Hlookup, CountIf, SumIf, Graphs<\/p>\n
