Job Title: Installation Engineer <\/strong><\/p>\n Location: Manchester <\/strong><\/p>\n Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a Installation Engineer to join their IT team to deliver world class installation and commissioning of commercial audio visual, control, and video conferencing solutions across the UK & Europe.<\/p>\n Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an Installation Engineer to join their IT team to deliver world class installation and commissioning of commercial audio visual, control, and video conferencing solutions across the UK & Europe.<\/p>\n Role and responsibility<\/strong><\/p>\n Follow all system documentation including, but not limited to:<\/p>\n Have excellent installation knowledge of commercial AV products and brands such as:<\/p>\n Consistently drive a high level of engineering quality for both yourself and fellow colleagues.<\/p>\n Maintain and follow the onsite health and safety processes outlined in the company policies.<\/p>\n Complete site-based documentation including, but not limited to:<\/p>\n Acquire a thorough understanding of installation requirements and objectives including, but not limited to:<\/p>\n Manage, report and co-ordinate van stock levels, cable usage and tool states with Regional Technical Manager & project support team.<\/p>\n Attend internal and site-based toolbox talks.<\/p>\n Ability to be flexible and work past design and building obstructions should they occur.<\/p>\n Working with the Project Co-Ordination team, manage all product returns and van stock levels as well as holidays.<\/p>\n Assess potential site risks and hazards to add to the existing site-specific risk and method statements.<\/p>\n Function as the focal point for internal and external engineering communication and documentation in the absence of a Project Manager.<\/p>\n Coordinate activities with general contractor, construction manager, owner, and other trades as required.<\/p>\n Provide regular reports to Regional Technical Management and Project Managers.<\/p>\n Regularly inspect installation work and assess against their engineering standards documentation.<\/p>\n Test or certify the performance of installed systems.<\/p>\n Coordinate and\/or provide basic functional training to client.<\/p>\n Ability to have flexible working hours.<\/p>\n Manage all relative responsibilities as per ISO 9001 procedure (available upon request)<\/p>\n Qualifications and further education<\/strong><\/p>\n You must work towards and maintain the below qualifications and certifications as part of their ongoing professional development:<\/p>\n CTS – Certified Technology Specialist<\/p>\n CTS-I – Certified Technology Specialist in Design<\/p>\n ECS \u2013 Electrotechnical Certification Scheme<\/p>\n IPAF \u2013 International Powered Access Federation Training<\/p>\n PASMA \u2013 Prefabricated Access Suppliers Training<\/p>\n Manufacturer Specific Training \u2013 Crestron, Extron, AMX, Nexia & SY<\/p>\n Application Deadline:<\/b> 05\/02\/2024\n
