Previous experience of charity finance would be advantageous, but is not essential.<\/p>\n<p>Your duties will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Orders &#8211; dealing with queries, raising orders and researching suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>Budgeting &#8211; creating and managing budgets for the organisation and ensuring that the organisation&#8217;s finances are allocated appropriately and that the budget is adhered to.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting &#8211; preparing financial reports for the organisation and ensuring that the reports are accurate and submitted on time.<\/li>\n<li>Accounts Payable\/Receivable &#8211; managing the organisation&#8217;s accounts payable and receivable, ensuring that all invoices are paid on time and payments are received on time; organising payment runs, credit notes, reconciliation, checking statements, all banking  and petty cash.<\/li>\n<li>Payroll\/Pensions &#8211; oversee processing of the monthly payroll function.<\/li>\n<li>Analysis &#8211; analysing the organisation&#8217;s financial data, to identify trends and patterns in the data and provide recommendations to the management team.<\/li>\n<li>Compliance &#8211; ensuring the organisation remains compliant with all financial regulations and laws.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What you&#8217;ll need to succeed<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be successful in this role, you will need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree in finance or accounting is preferred, or AAT\/NVQ qualified.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of financial management and accounting principles.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced MS Excel skills.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of SAGE, although training can be provided.<\/li>\n<li>Analytical, numerical &amp; problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Good time management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What you need to do now<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re interested in more information about this role, click &#8216;apply now&#8217; to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
