Job Title: <\/strong>CNC Programmer Setter Operator<\/p>\n

Shifts: <\/strong>Rotating Shifts Mon -Fri (Earlies – 06:00 -14:00, Friday 06:00 – 13:00 Lates 14:00 – 22.15, Fridays 13:00 – 19:00)<\/p>\n

Salary: <\/strong>£25,000 – £37,832 per annum depending on experience.<\/p>\n

Location: <\/strong>Swindon<\/p>\n

Position: <\/strong>Permanent<\/p>\n

The primary role of this position is to ensure that all aspects related to the CNC Turning Area are dealt with & controlled in a safe, effective & efficient manner & to provide the company with effective support within the CNC turning Area. <\/p>\n

As a CNC Turner\/Programmer Setter Operator you will report directly to the Area Team Leader.     <\/p>\n

Outline Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

 Following are a list of the main and most important duties and responsibilities, these are not exhaustive and you will be required to have a flexible approach as you may be requested to assist\/carry out other tasks and duties in other areas as and when the need arises:<\/p>\n

  • To fully support the CNC turning area in ensuring the safe and efficient running of CNC  Turning machine centres.<\/li>\n
  • To Program, Set and Operate the company\u2019s multi-axis CNC Turning Machines<\/li>\n
  • To generate new programs and\/or amend\/modify existing programs as per drawing requirements.<\/li>\n
  • To ensure that adequate training and ongoing support is given\/provided to all CNC Minders. <\/li>\n
  • In conjunction with the Team Leader, to be responsible for all other CNC Minders to ensure that they work to and perform the normal\/expected CNC Minder duties safely and efficiently.   <\/li>\n
  • Responsibility for First-Off and ongoing production Quality checks and requirements.<\/li>\n
  • Responsibility for and ensuring that all tooling and equipment is always available and maintained.  <\/li>\n
  • The movement, administration and identification of products between areas. <\/li>\n
  • The general housekeeping of the machines and all surrounding areas.<\/li>\n
  • Provide support and cover when and where necessary within other areas of the company. \n

  • Tornos<\/li>\n
  • Miyano\n

    Salary: Discussed at interview\/assessed on Skillset level \u2013 Skill Grades 1 to 6 apply working on our double day rotational shift pattern (shift allowance will apply on 39 hrs basic salary)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
