We are excited to be working alongside our esteemed client is currently in a period of expansion and due to this have a new opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety professional. <\/p>\n
Our client has a number of businesses that you will be the lead Health and Safety point of contact for. These includes their own Airport, Hospitality, Equestrian and Environmental business units. <\/p>\n
In your role as the Health and Safety Manager no 2 days will be the same so it is key that you are flexible in your approach to the working day. In this newly created role you will have a real opportunity to make this role your own.<\/p>\n
What will you be doing<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00b7 Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive health and safety programs in accordance with UK health and safety regulations. <\/p>\n \u00b7 Ensure compliance with relevant UK legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated regulations. <\/p>\n \u00b7 Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks <\/p>\n \u00b7 Develop, update, and communicate safety policies and procedures to ensure all employees understand and follow safety guidelines. <\/p>\n \u00b7 Investigate and report on all incidents, accidents, and near misses, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions are implemented. <\/p>\n \u00b7 Maintain accurate records of all safety-related activities, incidents, inspections, and training programs. <\/p>\n \u00b7 Stay up-to-date with UK health and safety standards and ensure staff compliance. <\/p>\n \u00b7 Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure a prompt and effective response to emergencies. <\/p>\n \u00b7 Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with health and safety standards <\/p>\n Skills & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n Experience of dealing with Aviation would be a distinct advantage. <\/p>\n UK CAA compliance background as preferable, or willing to undertake the training <\/p>\n NEBOSH Certification, essential <\/p>\n IOSH certification, essential <\/p>\n In-depth knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislations and regulations <\/p>\n Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. <\/p>\n Good organisation and administration skills <\/p>\n Personal integrity, dependability and confidentiality <\/p>\n Will be required to undertake travel within the UK, primarily Central and South locations as required <\/p>\n Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n Pension 5% <\/p>\n £40,000 – 50,000 DOE <\/p>\n Sick Pay <\/p>\n Free onsite parking <\/p>\n Holiday 33 days including public holiday <\/p>\n Fuel Card <\/p>\n Please apply today for more information on this exciting opportunity to or call .<\/p>\n Application Deadline:<\/b> 29\/01\/2024
