You will look after a specific division in the law firm as well as report into the CFO with dotted lines to the Managing Partner.<\/p>\n<p>The Finance Director will have responsibility for the delivery of best practice financial management through:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strategic and operational planning<\/li>\n<li>Project management<\/li>\n<li>Communications\/ business partnering<\/li>\n<li>Budgeting &amp; financial reporting<\/li>\n<li>Partner with the Managing Partner, Partners and Directors (HR, Business Development, Operations) to develop, implement and review the global strategy and budget<\/li>\n<li>Regularly report on the comparison of the budget, results achieved and whether performance measures are being met<\/li>\n<li>Assist the Managing Partner to communicate results within the division and to the broader firm<\/li>\n<li>Identify business trends and advocate proactive responses, including supporting business cases for partner candidates, utilisation to match forecast needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Personal Profile<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience in a law firm, or a professional services environment with experience in time billing\/ WIP<\/li>\n<li>ACA\/ACCA\/CIMA\/QBE<\/li>\n<li>Business partnering with a Senior Executive team or Board<\/li>\n<li>Identifying profit drivers and improvement opportunities through the analysis of P&amp;L<\/li>\n<li>Experience including general management with responsibility for all aspects of profit and loss<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please contact Chloe Williams or apply now. <\/p>\n<p>Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
