Shift Patterns: 37.5hrs a Week guaranteed – Full Time, Days\/Nights permanent<\/p>\n

Working as a Care Team Leader at Holme Lodge your duties will include the following:<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Support Workers.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Administer medication, conduct assessments.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Ensure that care plans are kept up to date.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Respect the dignity and preferences of the people we support as well playing your own part in establishing a home where everyone feels safe and confident to live their best life.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Be involved and deliver daily activities to the people we support.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Manage and help organise the duty rota.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Carrying out duties as requested by senior management.<\/p>\n
Information about the Service:<\/p>\n
We specialise in supporting people who have varying needs as a result of physical and long term neurological conditions including cerebral palsy, epilepsy, head\/brain injury, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson\u2019s disease, speech impairment, spina bifida and hydrocephalus. We work directly with each individual to develop a personalised support programme based on their needs, wishes and aspirations. This includes personal care, health & wellbeing programmes, rehabilitation, community engagement, enablement, volunteering and activities.<\/p>\n
Necessary Experience or Qualifications to work as a Team Leader:<\/p>\n
\u00b7 NVQ 3 or above in Health and Social Care.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Ideally 6 month or more experience as a Senior Healthcare Assistant \/ Senior Support Worker \/ Team Leader or Deputy Manager in Mental Health.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Passionate about making a difference in someone else\u2019s life.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Good communication skills.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Able handle sometimes challenging situations.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Fun, energetic and able to build relationships with many different people.<\/p>\n
