We’re seeking an enthusiastic 3D Modeller \/ Design Engineer to join our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking company specialising in product cooling, air conditioning, and ventilation systems. With previous experience in a similar role as a draughtsman and in 3D modelling, you will be involved in the design of a wide range of variable products and systems covering all facets of HVACR design, working with some of the most renowned Blue Chip Food and Drink producers in the UK. <\/p>\n

Role Highlights:<\/p>\n
* You will be working with a senior modelling engineer
* You will be operating within an established contract team
* Submit drawings for customer approval and maintain drawing issues and approval registers
* Site plans and general arrangement drawings
* Detailed ductwork and mechanical services drawings
* Steelwork and sheet metal fabrication drawings
* Assist engineering team with system design
* Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and client specifications
* Carry out detailed site surveys of buildings and plant<\/p>\n
Your Skills: <\/p>\n
* Engineering qualification at HND level or above.
* Demonstrable experience gained in a similar design role
* Building Services experience is essential
* Proficiency in 3D design using SolidWorks and Revit.
* Expertise in the latest AutoCAD version for creating meticulous 2D designs.
* Competent with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Technical design experience spanning ductwork, pipework, and steelwork sizing.
* Familiarity with industry drawing standards.
* Adeptness in teamwork, requiring minimal supervision.
* Possession of a full UK drivers licence for potential nationwide client site visits.<\/p>\n
