That\u2019s why the name of everyone who has ever worn our famous wings is inscribed  on the wall of our factory.<\/p>\n<p>As we embark on an exciting new era for the business, we need the very best people to write their own chapter on our journey to become the world\u2019s most desirable ultra-luxury British performance brand.<\/p>\n<p>Join us.<\/p>\n<p>&amp; <\/p>\n<p>Job Purpose:<\/p>\n<p>To support the EDS team through testing, re-work, and up-date activities for harnesses in development, pre-production, and production environments<\/p>\n<p>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and up-date prototype vehicle harnesses for specific test requirements<\/li>\n<li>Carry out labcar harness up-dates<\/li>\n<li>Vehicle or rig fault investigation, root cause definition, and solution definition<\/li>\n<li>Rework donor harnesses to mod sheet or drawing instructions<\/li>\n<li>Support all required pre-production build phases to help identify build issues and react to issues found<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical expertise to ensure industry best practice is followed in workshop areas<\/li>\n<li>Maintain rework documentation to ensure clarity of status for components and vehicles<\/li>\n<li>Identify components required to complete reworks and support part number specification and order placement<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with EDS engineers to meet programmes needs through prototype build phases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Qualification &amp; Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience and knowledge of automotive electrical systems and components<\/li>\n<li>Experience of automotive harness design, construction, and modification<\/li>\n<li>Reading and understanding circuit diagrams and harness drawings<\/li>\n<li>Re-working of automotive harnesses \u2013 re-pinning, circuit changes, routing changes<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of harness component definition and where to source parts from<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of relevant workshop and production line regulations<\/li>\n<li>Analysing data from supplier testing and work to timely solutions when required<\/li>\n<li>Some knowledge of product development cycle from concept to launch completion<\/li>\n<li>Some experience of automotive pre-production build environments<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working in a cross functional team to tackle complex issue resolution<\/li>\n<li>Some knowledge and experience of NX and Team Centre<\/li>\n<li>An understanding and experience of 3D and 2D (drafting) CAD.<\/li>\n<li>Test data process<\/li>\n<li>Appropriate engineering qualifications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Behaviours:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A flexible attitude to the range of systems is required and the ability to support multiple programmes with demanding time constraints.<\/li>\n<li>Must be proactive and trust their initiative using minimum supervision to produce practical solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Good IT skills with the ability to process data<\/li>\n<li>Ability to think outside the box and generate new and better solutions for EDS.<\/li>\n<li>Team player &amp; able to collaborate with others<\/li>\n<li>Good problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Analytical mindset and critical thinking<\/li>\n<li>Builds positive and constructive relationships and is aware of others\u2019 needs and uses this to work well together<\/li>\n<li>Works effectively with others to achieve goals e.g., recognises how different contributions and ways of working led to success<\/li>\n<li>Notices issues and seeks to address customer concerns.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent time management and autonomous working required<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates Aston Martin Values:\n<ul>\n<li>Unity \u2013 Stronger together<\/li>\n<li>Openness \u2013 Listen, and you will see<\/li>\n<li>Trust \u2013 Believe in the team<\/li>\n<li>Ownership \u2013 Take responsibility<\/li>\n<li>Courage \u2013 Towards greater things<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&amp; <\/p>\n<p>Belong at Aston Martin<\/p>\n<p>We understand that the incredible beauty, craft and art that defines an Aston Martin comes from the inclusion of our amazing people.<\/p>\n<p>We welcome the unique contributions that you can bring in terms of your education, opinions, culture, ethnicity, race, sex, gender identity and expression, nation of origin, age, languages spoken, colour, religion, disability, sexual orientation and beliefs.
