Zeal Recruitment has been selected to help a well-established, national M&E company recruit for an experienced Mechanical Engineer on a permanent basis to join their team. This role will cover the Coventry, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, and Northampton working in large residential buildings.<\/p>\n
Your duties as a Mechanical Engineer will include:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Maintenance and repairs of commercial plant, pumps and compressors
\u2022 Pipe installation and general pipe work
\u2022 Day to day safety and maintenance checks
\u2022 Valve changes
\u2022 Working with heating and ventilation systems
\u2022 Commercial boiler repairs and maintenance
\u2022 Regular servicing of above systems <\/p>\n
The Mechanical Engineer will ideally have:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Commercial core gas (COCN1) & Domestic to Commercial changeover (CODNCO1)
\u2022 Experience within Commercial & residential settings
\u2022 Experience with reactive and planned repairs
\u2022 Proven Mechanical Engineer experience with references
\u2022 High standard and flexible approach to working <\/p>\n
The successful Mechanical Engineer will be working for a large successful business from their Birmingham office, no day is the same, everyone likes to help each other, have a laugh all whilst getting the task at hand completed. You will also receive a company van and fuel card, work wear, PPE, Phone, Tablet, 21 days holiday plus bank holidays
which increases with length of service and Pension contribution. You will also be on call out 1 in every 3 weeks where you will receive an additional £300 standby fee and payment from door to door.<\/p>\n
