Job title: <\/strong>Senior Commissioning Engineer-Mechanical<\/p>\n Location: <\/strong>Barrow<\/p>\n Salary:<\/strong> Competitive<\/p>\n *Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance*<\/strong><\/p>\n We are currently seeking a number of Commissioning Engineers on a permanent basis. The successful candidates will be part of the Mechanical Commissioning Team responsible for commissioning activities on the plant.<\/p>\n What you’ll be doing:<\/strong><\/p>\n * Carrying out routine work with limited supervision<\/p>\n * Liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure activities are undertaken in a safe & compliant manner.<\/p>\n * Instruct & mentor less experienced members of the team within your knowledge & competency.<\/p>\n * Responsible for researching, authoring & reviewing of design and test documentation to the required standard.<\/p>\n * Keep full and accurate records of work activities carried out as required by policy, procedure & legislation.<\/p>\n * To represent the Company on Factory Acceptance Tests<\/p>\n Your skills and experiences:<\/strong><\/p>\n * Knowledge of mechanical system operation, ideally Steam and condensate systems, lubricating oil and cooling systems<\/p>\n * Experience with commissioning of complex heavy machinery plants e.g. diesels and turbo generators and steam turbine plants<\/p>\n * Knowledge of test equipment & activities required for specific tests.<\/p>\n * Aware of Nuclear Site\/Authorisation Conditions.<\/p>\n * Understanding of Mechanical Flushing and Pressure & Endurance Testing and setting to work of systems.<\/p>\n If you wish to apply for this role or discuss in more detail please reach out to Tahanee @ Atlas via email: or call: <\/p>\n All successful candidates will be contacted within two working days of application.<\/p>\n Application Deadline:<\/b> 23\/01\/2024
