Milk Education is partnered with a Primary School in Bolton (BL5) who are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to start a long term, full-time role within a Key Stage 1 Classroom.<\/p>\n
Working hours \u2013 8:30am \u2013 3:30pm<\/p>\n
The role will involve working on a full time basis within Key Stage 1 classrooms working closely with an experienced Teacher.<\/p>\n
The Role:<\/p>\n
\u2022 To work under the instruction\/guidance of senior\/teaching staff to undertake work\/care\/support programmes<\/em><\/p>\n \u2022 To enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.<\/em><\/p>\n \u2022 To support the delivery of quality learning both in the classroom or outside the main teaching area to help raise standards of achievement for all pupils.<\/em><\/p>\n \u2022 To encourage the participation of all pupils.<\/em><\/p>\n \u2022 Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.<\/em><\/p>\n Required Skills & Experience of the KS1 Teaching Assistant:<\/p>\n \u2022 Previous and recent experience of supporting children within either a school\/ private day nursery\/youth centre or similar setting.<\/em><\/p>\n \u2022 Fantastic knowledge of the Key Stage 1 phase including the delivery of phonics.<\/em><\/p>\n \u2022 Experience in supporting children with additional needs.<\/em><\/p>\n \u2022 Qualifications: CACHE Level 2 or 3, NNEB, Early Years or Education Degree, Teaching Assistant Level 2 or 3.<\/em><\/p>\n Why Choose MILK?<\/p>\n We are an environmentally-friendly education supply agency providing quality talent to local schools across the North West.
