Venn Group is currently working with an NHS organisation, based in London, who are recruiting for a Desktop Support Engineer to join their team. The post holder will provide second line desktop support in maintaining and expanding the IT service for the Trust.<\/p>\n
Rate: £160 per day Umbrella Location: London \u2013 Onsite 5 days per week<\/p>\n
IR35 Status: Inside<\/p>\n
Duration: 3 months, initially<\/p>\n
Job Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\u00b7 To provide high quality 2nd line technical support to all users connected to the IT environment<\/p>\n
\u00b7 To fix hardware and software faults or recommend appropriate solutions<\/p>\n
\u00b7 To undertake the build, configuration, documentation and integration of new desktop, audio visual devices and printer hardware<\/p>\n
\u00b7 To identify, recommend and implement changes to IT systems<\/p>\n
\u00b7 To build, deploy and repair all devices such as PCs \/Laptops\/ printers\/ scanners\/ mobile devices etc<\/p>\n
\u00b7 To provide face to face desktop support<\/p>\n
The ideal candidate will have:<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Demonstrable experience of working in a technical support environment at 1st and 2nd line level<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Network services DNS, DHCP<\/p>\n
\u00b7 ServiceNow<\/p>\n
\u00b7 All Microsoft Office versions 2010 onwards & MS Teams<\/p>\n
\u00b7 All Microsoft Desktop OS \u2013 Windows 7 onwards<\/p>\n
\u00b7 All Microsoft Server OS – 2012 onwards<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Apple MAC OS and iOS versions<\/p>\n
\u00b7 SCCM, Intune, Airwatch, MaaS360<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Bitlocker, Sophos, ATP, VPN, Citrix<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Active Directory including group policy<\/p>\n
