Our client is an FMCG Manufacturing business that has been around for many years. Due to recent investment and growth, they are looking to hire a Double Days Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Liverpool. <\/p>\n
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Double Days) – The Rewards<\/p>\n
* Salary up to £40,000 + Overtime Opportunity
* Shift pattern – Double Days – Monday to Friday
* 6am – 2pm \/ 2pm – 10pm

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Double Days) – Requirements<\/p>\n
* H&S and Food Safety
* Mathematics Level 3 or above
* Organisational skills
* PC literate
* Engineering or machinery experience<\/p>\n
Desirable<\/p>\n
* Experience with packaging machines, metal detectors, food related machinery
* Experience of working in a similar environment
* Understand the principles of food safety and maintenance within a food environment
* Work well in a team or on their own<\/p>\n
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Double Days) – Responsibilities<\/p>\n
* Ensure that line speeds are optimised
* Bands and wires on sheeter and setup of expander machines are carried out in a timely and efficient manner
* Cutters are kept in a good state of repair and are readily available when the plan requires
* Assist in trials\/product development\/breakage
* Maintenance PPM in a timely manner
* Promote and contribute to continuous improvement
* Minimize downtime
* Train\/guide\/support production staff in the correct way to treat machinery<\/p>\n
