This is a long-term, full-time position starting in January. The successful  candidate must have a Level 2 childcare qualification and a strong background in working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 4 student with SEMH needs.<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with the class teacher to implement individualised learning plans.<\/li>\n<li>Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and track the student&#8217;s progress, reporting findings to relevant staff and parents.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with the SENCO and other professionals to ensure the child&#8217;s holistic development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum Level 2 childcare qualification.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, particularly SEMH.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of SEMH strategies and interventions.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of the student.<\/li>\n<li>Hold an enhanced DBS or be willing to undertake a new one.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Working Hours:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full time, long-term role beginning in January.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are an enthusiastic Year 4 Teaching Assistant who is passionate about teaching and looking for an exciting new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
