Superb brand!!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Basic from &#163;50k to &#163;70k plus end of year bonus<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are looking to appoint on behalf of our prestigious client for an exceptional Finance Controller based in Manchester City.<\/p>\n<p>You will be joining a gigantic global brand within the Beverage and Manufacturing industry. They offer a flexible and agile working environment, family-friendly culture and non micro management.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the role<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Responsible in accounting and controlling 5 entities within the UK.<\/p>\n<p>This role will oversee and manage the monthly -quarterly and year-end financial process required for financial reporting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your Key Tasks:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead pro-active balance sheet review and reconciliation analysis for all UK entities, including deep understanding of accruals.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring strong adherence and compliance to the companies accounting and control policies.<\/li>\n<li>Support and lead month end close (MEC) meetings supported by GBS.<\/li>\n<li>Support and lead Hard close process for the UK entities.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the local statutory accounting and audit for the UK entities, supported by a local external accountancy firm.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of the target operating model and ensuring set-up of intercompany service agreement are followed through in accounting and process flows.<\/li>\n<li>Support and lead external audits, first point of contact for KPMG.<\/li>\n<li>Support and lead internal control self-assessments as required.<\/li>\n<li>Support ad hoc consultancy engagement requests initiated by the HQ.<\/li>\n<li>Drive continuous improvement, optimisation, and standardisation of the companies operating model together with Tax function.<\/li>\n<li>Set-up a ways of working with the companies global shared service centre in Bangalore and drive global services, process, and system improvement opportunities in the end state.<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen the performance reporting process to meet key deadlines (WD 3) monthly &amp; quarterly performance review.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Important thing: Must have Auditor experience along with managing Multi Sites.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 10 years experience in accounting and controlling.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in BIG 4 accounting firm is a BIG plus.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in &quot;Start Up&quot; environment experience developing policies, process and strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in consumer goods industry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>On offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Attractive Basic from &#163;50k to &#163;70k &#43; End of Year Bonus &#43; Company Pension Scheme &#43; Hybrid Working &#43; Work for a SUPERB GLOBAL BRAND with an excellent culture!!<\/p>\n<p>Does this sound like a smart career move?
