The role is a NEW BUSINESS SALES EXECUTIVE role based at our clients BIRMINGHAM site with a focus on New Business Sales within the Express Parcels  industry with a monthly rolling target of &#163;4,500 a month.<\/p>\n<p>The Area is covering ST, WS, WV, B and WR postcodes<\/p>\n<p>&#163;34,000 to &#163;38,000 Basic salary plus car\/car allowance and 25% commission paid on revenue<\/p>\n<p>Job Summary:<\/p>\n<p>Overall Purpose of Role &#8211; To ensure that their home Depot exceeds its revenue budget, by:<br \/>&#8211; Exceeding their personal new business budget\/target<br \/>&#8211; Managing the customer base with relevant Depot colleagues to ensure minimal attrition<br \/>&#8211; Building close and effective working relationships with a network of contacts within prospective customers<br \/>&#8211; Identifying and qualifying customer opportunities for new product sales<br \/>&#8211; Developing and broadening relationship with existing customers while identifying and qualifying opportunities for new product sales<\/p>\n<p>Main Responsibilities:<br \/>&#8211; Work with the Depot General Manager, Regional Director &amp; Regional Sales Manager to implement the sales strategy and business plan for the Depot<br \/>&#8211; Define target list of customer prospects based on clearly defined criteria that maximises return for our client<br \/>&#8211; Achieve and exceed personal and Depot targets in line with budget <br \/>&#8211; Working with the Depot General Manager to manage customer relationships by engaging in personal ownership of the customers<br \/>&#8211; Demonstrate strong knowledge of the product portfolio and all associated features and benefits and to tailor those benefits to the needs of the customer<br \/>&#8211; Track performance of accounts, opportunity and scope to build and maintain customer relations<br \/>&#8211; Submit accurate and timely sales reports<br \/>&#8211; Attend team meetings and contribute as necessary on own individual performance, prepare for manager review meetings and complete sales activity reports accurately and on time<br \/>&#8211; Use the sales tools in line with the agreed sales process to maintain and develop sales pipeline and customer information<\/p>\n<p>New Business Sales Executive &#8211; BIRMINGHAM<br \/>&#8211; Salary &#163;32,000 to &#163;38,000 depending on experience plus a lucrative commission scheme OTE potential &#163;20k TO &#163;40K plus on top of basic (this is minimum providing target of &#163;4,500 new business rev per month is met monthly)<br \/>&#8211; They would prefer a Parcel, Haulage, Pallets or Feight background if possible but will consider Industry related, switched on individuals<br \/>&#8211; Would like people who can profile and put a quote together themselves<br \/>&#8211; New business hunter with an ability to manage the top 20 accounts at the Depot<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge, Skills and Experience<br \/>&#8211; Extensive experience within either the Parcel, Pallet, Freight industry or Retail, FMCG sector<br \/>&#8211; Strong sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, networking and campaign management)<br \/>&#8211; Detailed understanding of sales process and demonstration of world-class sales rigor, hunger and determination<br \/>&#8211; Proven track record of closing major opportunities.
