{"id":12204,"date":"2024-05-01T13:32:04","date_gmt":"2024-05-01T13:32:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coinsrev.com\/info\/buyer-purchasing-assistant\/"},"modified":"2024-05-01T13:32:04","modified_gmt":"2024-05-01T13:32:04","slug":"buyer-purchasing-assistant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coinsrev.com\/info\/buyer-purchasing-assistant\/","title":{"rendered":"Buyer \/ Purchasing Assistant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Employer:<\/b> Randstad Perm Professionals<br \/>\n<b>Salary:<\/b> \u00a326,000 &#8211; \u00a328,000 per annum<br \/>\n<b>Date Added:<\/b> 01\/05\/2024<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for two experienced Junior Buyers \/Purchasing Assistants wanting to work for a growing and well established, global company in the Midlands. <\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a great time to join a successful, friendly and supportive team.<\/p>\n<p>If you meet the below criteria we would love to speak to you \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have experience in speaking to suppliers and chasing deliveries <\/li>\n<li>Background in FMCG or similar<\/li>\n<li>Thrive in a fast paced environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#163;26,000 &#8211; &#163;28,000 depending on experience<\/li>\n<li>Monday &#8211; Thursday 8.30 am &#8211; 5.15 pm (1 hour for lunch) \/Friday 8.30am &#8211; 5.00 pm (1 hour for lunch)<\/li>\n<li>Holidays 20 days &#43; Bank Holidays &amp; Christmas Shut Down (3 days)<\/li>\n<li>Company Pension Scheme<\/li>\n<li>Parking on-site<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to progress and develop <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage Purchasing Master Data for the Commodity to ensure price and lead times are accurate maintained<\/li>\n<li>Chasing deliveries <\/li>\n<li>Create new part Request for Quotations <\/li>\n<li>Ensure Purchase Orders (External and Intercompany) are placed in a timely manner to achieve request date and maintain customer satisfaction<\/li>\n<li>Plan and schedule via MRP Exception Messages<\/li>\n<li>Manage Purchase and Invoice Price Variance reports (PPV) for commodity<\/li>\n<li>Vendor Expediting to maintain accurate delivery information<\/li>\n<li>Resolve Supplier Quality Notifications<\/li>\n<li>Regular liaison with suppliers, stores and internal teams<\/li>\n<li>Support the communication of shipment delays and escalations as appropriate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>About you?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have experience in Buying \/Purchasing within FMCG or similar is essential <\/li>\n<li>Worked with lots of parts and suppliers <\/li>\n<li>Experience dealing with a number of international suppliers (essential)<\/li>\n<li>Competent in chasing deliveries (essential)<\/li>\n<li>You must have excellent attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Have strong administrative experience <\/li>\n<li>Well organised, self-motivated and work well under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written skills<\/li>\n<li>Confident communicator<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy working in a fast paced environment <\/li>\n<li>Ability to prioritise <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interviews are taking place<\/p>\n<p>Apply today! \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n<p>Randstad Business Support acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
