As Internal Sales the focus will be on dealing with customer enquiries, preparing quotations that align to the customer requirements in order to generate an order, and coordinating orders from point of order to completed purchase order. Internal sales has a role to play in supporting external business activities to achieve sales targets and profitability.<\/p>\n
Key tasks:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Handle customer enquiries to generate quotations<\/p>\n
\u2022 Internal communication with sales representatives and other departments<\/p>\n
\u2022 Follow up on pending quotes to convert to orders<\/p>\n
\u2022 Negotiate and solve objections with customers related to quoted prices and deliveries<\/p>\n
\u2022 Processing and updating information on ERP and CRM systems<\/p>\n
\u2022 Develop product, application and market knowledge related to the company\u2019s activities<\/p>\n
The ideal candidate will have the following skills: <\/p>\n
\u2022 Experience in a similar role\/ undertaking quotes and administration tasks<\/p>\n
\u2022 Excellent phone manner, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written<\/p>\n
\u2022 High level of attention to detail and accuracy<\/p>\n
\u2022 Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload<\/p>\n
\u2022 IT – ERP and CRM experience, good MS Excel\/Word\/PowerPoint\/Teams.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Commercial understanding of product cost, gross margin and selling price relationships<\/p>\n
