Our client is looking for <strong>Goods In Team Member<\/strong> based in Hull.<\/p>\n<p>This role provides the opportunity for an ambitious warehouse operator to be part of an exciting and fast pace environment where you will be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Loading and unloading all types of vehicles delivering on site<\/li>\n<li>Sample goods upon receipt and deliver to QC labs<\/li>\n<li>Pick and dispense products for production in FIFO order<\/li>\n<li>Ensure stock integrity and location accuracy<\/li>\n<li>To ensure a high standard of service to production<\/li>\n<li>Load finished products<\/li>\n<li>Pick and supply production lines with packaging \/ raw material components using hand scanners<\/li>\n<li>To be multi skilled across multiple functions to be able to support other areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What will you be doing as part of the Goods In team:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li>Performs goods-in checks on stock\/trailers on arrival to ensure that the correct quantity has arrived, and materials are in good condition.<\/li>\n<li>Booking stock onto SAP accurately<\/li>\n<li>Works with planning team to schedule deliveries to meet factory demand.<\/li>\n<li>Works with planning team to co-ordinate deliveries from external warehouse.<\/li>\n<li>Transport stock from location to location within the warehouse.<\/li>\n<li>Use of Bar-code Scanners to correctly transfer\/locate stock on SAP.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer of materials from wooden to plastic pallets and splitting mixed lot pallets.<\/li>\n<li>Labelling of raw materials and packaging components.<\/li>\n<li>Sampling of raw materials and packaging components<\/li>\n<li>Performs simple ID checks on materials &#8211; Using Raman\/NIR\/FTIR scanner.<\/li>\n<li>Transport of samples to QC drop off point following rapid ID<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring all activities are done in accordance with procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and skills needed as a Goods In Team Member:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to undertake NVQ based qualifications<\/li>\n<li>Counterbalance license (RTITB) PPT licence and reach truck licence preferred but not essential<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience needed as a Goods In Team Member:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience of working within a similar background and\/or third party Logistics environment<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and experience of working in a regulated environment<\/li>\n<li>Health and safety qualifications preferred but not essential (IOSH, First aid at work)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Attributes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrate behaviours that are aligned to the Leadership Charter and the Core Values<\/li>\n<li>Will be achievement focussed and able to work in a direct and often pressurised environment<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work to stretching targets<\/li>\n<li>Problem solving and analytical skills, with an ability to see potential problems early and build in suitable contingencies and implement improvements<\/li>\n<li>Planning and organisational skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; team working and team building skills <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Should you be interested in applying for this excellent opportunity, please apply as soon as possible via the link attached.<\/p>\n<p>Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
