{"id":1181,"date":"2023-11-29T06:00:12","date_gmt":"2023-11-29T06:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coinsrev.com\/info\/actuarial-portfolio-manager\/"},"modified":"2023-11-29T06:00:12","modified_gmt":"2023-11-29T06:00:12","slug":"actuarial-portfolio-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coinsrev.com\/info\/actuarial-portfolio-manager\/","title":{"rendered":"Actuarial portfolio manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Employer:<\/b> Lawes Consulting Group<br \/>\n<b>Salary:<\/b> \u00a375,000 &#8211; \u00a395,000 per annum<br \/>\n<b>Date Added:<\/b> 17\/11\/2023<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Actuarial portfolio manager<\/strong><br \/><strong>Location: London &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<\/strong><br \/><strong>Package: &#163;95,000 per annum &#43; Bonus &#43; Benefits <\/strong><br \/><strong>Industry: Insurance <\/strong><br \/><strong>Lines of business: Open to candidates from any lines of business &nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lawes Consulting Group are working with a progressively growing insurer who are on the lookout for an Actuarial portfolio manager.<\/p>\n<p>This is a great opportunity to work with an established Lloyds Syndicate who is welcoming individuals to the team from any line of business.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years&#8217; experience within an actuarial insurance-based role.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have effective communication of analytical results<\/li>\n<li>Engage with the capital modelling, actuarial and finance teams to ensure consistency in the approach to risk modelling both across the syndicate and with other entities in the Group<\/li>\n<li>Bring actuarial experience to the design and development of the Lloyds syndicates catastrophe modelling and exposure management capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Manage strong working relationships with Lloyd&#8217;s and key suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with data scientists to build best practices and digital portfolio management capabilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification, Experience &amp; Capabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cert CII Qualification desirable not essential<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of open data standards in the insurance space, especially catastrophe modelling would be a major plus<\/li>\n<li>Experience to working in multidisciplinary, agile teams would be a major plus<\/li>\n<li>Degree in a numerate subject<\/li>\n<li>Strong general insurance Lloyd&#8217;s\/company market experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytic skills: qualified actuary OR significant experience in technical underwriting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You&#8217;ll get a highly competitive remuneration and benefits package.
