This is a great opportunity for an ambitious, experienced Production Management professional to make an impact at a business within an excellent industry. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Description <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Play a key role in the creation and implementation of best practice manufacturing; planning, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to improve operational performance<\/li>\n<li>Maintain production systems and processes to deliver product on time, to specification and cost<\/li>\n<li>Promote functional excellence of the systems team<\/li>\n<li>Drive continuous improvement activities<\/li>\n<li>Justify capital equipment investment and introduce of modern processes<\/li>\n<li>Analyse downtime, identify trends and develop implement solutions<\/li>\n<li>Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems<\/li>\n<li>Take control of in-house apprentice program working closely with key stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Identify skill sets, resource levels, and systems to ensure projects are delivered<\/li>\n<li>Manage and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels<\/li>\n<li>Communicate KPI&#8217;s, review and implement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques such as Six Sigma<\/li>\n<li>Experience of New Product Introduction, reworking design changes and upgrades through to production.<\/li>\n<li>Able to demonstrate experience of working within a manufacturing environment<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and experience of modern manufacturing techniques and process that include automation and digitalisation<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Office suite<\/li>\n<li>SAP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Company Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a business our client is a true market leader within their industry with a strong presence across the UK.
