Apointe Ltd has just the job for you! Our client in Maidenhead is seeking a seasoned Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join their team. As a star candidate, you&#8217;ll have experience in accounts payable and direct  report management.<\/p>\n<p>In this role, you&#8217;ll report to the Purchase Ledger Manager and oversee purchase ledger activity for the group. It&#8217;s a great opportunity to make a big impact and ensure the highest service levels for the business operation. And don&#8217;t just take our word for  it &#8211; our past candidates have all enjoyed the atmosphere and excelled in at this company.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Being a strong second in charge for when the PL Manager is dealing with other issues.<\/li>\n<li>Manage team of purchase ledger administrators to deliver expected levels of performance, dealing with staff fairly, ensuring work is allocated evenly and sufficient cover for absences.<\/li>\n<li>Ownership of the Purchase Ledger inbox and helping the team prioritize workload.<\/li>\n<li>Checking invoices are being processed by the team correctly and to the correct GL codes.<\/li>\n<li>Weekly payment runs for two companies within the business.<\/li>\n<li>Ad-hoc same Day payments In Barclays.<\/li>\n<li>Aged creditors &#8211; reviewing and actioning any outstanding items, debit balances, missing invoices, payments taken. Reconciling DD accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Will be responsible for processing Lease invoices, Council taxes and reconciling utility accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Supplier statements approx. 200-250 per month &#8211; we are not being initiative-taking and instead are reactivating when an account goes on stop.<\/li>\n<li>Registering and verifying CIS Suppliers on HMRC.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with vendors and reject incorrect invoices and get them reissued.<\/li>\n<li>Checking invoices are being processed by the team correctly and to the correct GL codes.<\/li>\n<li>Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, skills &amp; experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience supervising a team of transactional staff.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Business central\/Navision preferred.<\/li>\n<li>CIS knowledge preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Positive attitude and keen to learn.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use initiative and think outside the box.<\/li>\n<li>Methodical, accurate and able to meet deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Team player adaptable and keen to help.<\/li>\n<li>Keen eye to detail<\/li>\n<li>Able to work within a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<li>Happy with occasional travel around the country.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Application Deadline:<\/b> 03\/06\/2024<br \/>\n<b>Contract Type:<\/b> Permanent<br \/>\n<b>Submitted Applications:<\/b> 0<\/p>\n<p><a class='btn btn-block btn-primary theme-btn-primary' style='text-align: center; text-decoration: none; margin: auto 0;width: 100%;' href='https:\/\/www.reed.co.uk\/jobs\/purchase-ledger-supervisor\/52517545' target='_blank' rel=\"noopener\"> Apply Now <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Employer: APOINTE LIMITED Salary: \u00a330,000 &#8211; \u00a332,000 per annum Date Added: 22\/04\/2024 Looking for a new opportunity in accounts payable?
