If so, Milk Education are recruiting for a full-time Autism Support Worker to work with children aged between 3-19 year old on a full-time term time only basis. Your role would be based in a Special School in LS9 that caters specifically for children with Autism and Communication issues. This is a Monday – Friday role and would require you to work 08.30 – 15.30. We are not currently accepting applications for part time.<\/p>\n

Your role & responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Supporting the class teacher to deliver lessons<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Helping the pupils regulate<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Creating a fun and safe environment for the children to thrive<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Assist with personal care<\/p>\n
Non-negotiables:<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Must have recent and relevant experience working with children or adults with learning disabilities and\/or Autism in an education or health and social care capacity <\/p>\n
\u00b7 Be available Monday to Friday 08:30 – 15:30<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Comfortable providing personal care<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher<\/p>\n
