We are looking to recruit an experienced family lawyer to grow the family team practice.<\/strong><\/p>\n
\u2022 Supervision responsibilities for a small team
\u2022 A fee earning role dealing with a mixed caseload to include;
o Divorce and civil partnership dissolution
o Financial settlements on relationship breakdown
o Arrangements for children
o Nuptial and cohabitation agreements
o Non-molestation and occupation orders
\u2022 Advocacy in the courts, including directions hearings
\u2022 Growing and developing a network of clients and referrers, and
\u2022 Assisting to evolve the business development strategy for the family team practice.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Qualified solicitor or professional equivalent (c.3+PQE)
\u2022 Excellent understanding of the law relating to family finances, separation, and
breakdown
\u2022 Experience in ADR
\u2022 Advocacy experience
\u2022 Good billing and financial hygiene
\u2022 Experience of building and maintaining professional and client relationships
\u2022 Up to date understanding and commitment to risk management and compliance
\u2022 Competent with IT applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook<\/p>\n
\u2022 Possess excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
\u2022 Have a commercial and creative mindset
\u2022 Display a proven ability of working to deadlines
\u2022 Ability to identify problems, recommend solutions and work on own initiative
\u2022 Have a keen interest in business development and marketing
\u2022 Takes responsibility for personal and professional development
