We are pleased to be working on behalf of a global insurance provider, who require an experienced Underwriter to join their growing UK construction \/ engineering department underwriting and producing insurance and reinsurance business within authority levels.<\/p>\n
Candidates will be responsible for the underwriting of cases in a consistent and technical manner within the authority limit. You will act as the primary contact for medium sized clients and support with larger sized clients.<\/p>\n
Candidates need to come from an engineering underwriting background and have knowledge of the UK construction market. You will be calm, flexible, have a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications, be diplomatic and have strong commercial acumen.<\/p>\n
