Have experience lifeguarding and managing?&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>4Leisure are currently looking for a Senior Recreation Assistant to join this friendly team in North West London. This role is based in a private Leisure Facility and they are looking for someone who can &nbsp;assist with the facilities daily operations and support  the team. You will be responsible for the preparation, cleaning and general safety of areas in the Aquatic and Fitness Centre.&nbsp;<br \/>The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience working within the leisure industry. Our client is looking for a real &quot;people\u2019s person&quot; with a passion to deliver high standards. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Lifeguard  or Duty Manager with poolside experience, looking to join this fantastic team!&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main duties include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensuring safe and secure environment for employees, students and visitors<\/li>\n<li>Preparing activity areas to include the safe setting up\/dismantling of equipment and ensuring that all equipment is stored safely and securely when not in use<\/li>\n<li>Routine maintenance and cleaning of gym and swimming pool equipment and changing rooms<\/li>\n<li>Assisting visitors with enquiries in a friendly and effective manner, proactively developing and maintaining high standards of customer care<\/li>\n<li>Carry out basic exercises classes on a regular basis within shift<\/li>\n<li>To supervise the shift when there is no manager onsite<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Essential Qualifications:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NPLQ qualification (National pool lifeguarding qualification)&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Level 2 Fitness Instructor role&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>First Aid at Work&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> OR willing to undertake the above.&nbsp;<br \/><strong>Desirable Qualifications:&nbsp;<\/strong><br \/>Swim England Level 1, Level 2.&nbsp;<br \/>Pool Plant Operator (PPO)&nbsp;<br \/>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br \/>Please note, this role is a Fixed term, 40 hours per week &#8211; 1-year contract with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.
