The Opportunity<\/strong><\/p>\n We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Senior Ecologist to join our Consulting Sustainable Solutions team. With shared office space in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth, we welcome applications from Ecologists across Scotland.<\/p>\n This is an exciting opportunity to provide support to all ecology related activities on a variety of road contracts in Scotland, including the South West Network Management Contract for Transport Scotland, a variety of active travel schemes (e.g., AMIDS Renfrewshire), and the North Angus Growth Opportunity. As a Senior Ecologist in Scotland, you will be responsible for supporting the development and growth of the team in Scotland, which may also include leading on ecology specific business development opportunities.<\/p>\n The role<\/strong><\/p>\n Our Ecologists play an important part within the Sustainable Solutions team and alongside our clients. As a Senior Ecologist you will provide effective support and assistance to your Ecology leads on a variety of ecological schemes whilst taking the lead on projects and mentoring junior Ecologists.<\/p>\n The role will also include ecological support to regional and national projects to a wide range of public sector clients (Amey currently works with clients in the highways, rail, local authority, central government, aviation and waste sectors).<\/p>\n Responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n What you will bring to us:<\/strong><\/p>\n What we can offer you: <\/strong><\/p>\n At Amey, we recognise that our biggest asset is our people.
