A flourishing, multi-site and rural South Kent firm of accountants now has an exciting new opportunity for a newly qualified accounting senior to come on board and build a long-term ‘career\u2019 with them.<\/p>\n
This firm works on behalf of a full remit of clients (with a focus on farming and agriculture), but typically targets medium- to large-sized owner-managed businesses. They operate in Kent, across the South-East, and nationally.<\/p>\n
The new accounts senior will be confident in developing and maintaining effective client relationships and building new business. This opportunity would offer excellent career prospects for the right candidate. Either a recently qualified accountant or an accountant who has gained post-qualification experience and is looking for a new challenge.<\/p>\n
\u2022 ACA\/ACCA qualified from a practice environment<\/p>\n
\u2022 Ability to work as part of a team<\/p>\n
\u2022 Experience of supporting a portfolio of clients and managing the work of more junior staff<\/p>\n
\u2022 Excellent communication skills and attention to detail<\/p>\n
\u2022 Confident with building client relationships<\/p>\n
Role Information<\/p>\n
\u2022 Develop and maintain effective client relationships<\/p>\n
\u2022 Prepare financial statements and produce year-end accounts for a wide portfolio of clients as well as tax calculations<\/p>\n
\u2022 Review work that has bee completed by junior staff<\/p>\n
\u2022 Monitor and report on team performance<\/p>\n
\u2022 Ensure that work is delivered with budget and time requirements<\/p>\n
\u2022 Assist in the training and development of junior staff<\/p>\n

As a qualified accountant, you will be an important contact point and be supported by a team of bookkeeping and administration staff.
