Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to offer an exciting position as a Long-Term SEN Teaching Assistant to start in  April 2024.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a Long-Term SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting a student in Year 5 with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your responsibilities will include providing in-class support, facilitating small group and 1-to-1 interventions,  and maintaining effective communication with the student, staff, and parents. The role is full-time and will commence from April 2024 until July 2024.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborating with the SENCO to provide targeted support to the student with SEN<\/li>\n<li>Assisting in-class to create an inclusive learning environment<\/li>\n<li>Conducting small group and 1-to-1 interventions to address individual needs<\/li>\n<li>Working collaboratively with the school team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in supporting pupils with SEN across Primary age groups<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and oral communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently<\/li>\n<li>Desirable to have a degree-level education and experience with Makaton<\/li>\n<li>Experience in supporting students with Global Development Delay would be advantageous but not essential<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why Choose Tradewind Recruitment?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tradewind Recruitment is a leading education recruitment agency known for connecting passionate educators with fulfilling opportunities.
