If you are we want to hear from you! Cherry Professional&nbsp;are recruiting on behalf of our client, who are based in Nottingham City Centrefor a<strong>&nbsp;Finance Assistant<\/strong>. This is a&nbsp;<strong>temporary<\/strong>&nbsp;position  until the end of December. Working within a lively finance dept, reporting to the&nbsp;Finance Manager.&nbsp;<br \/>Full time hours of 37.5 per week<strong>, temporary<\/strong>&nbsp;and requires you to be&nbsp;<strong>fully on site.<\/strong>&nbsp;Please note this role requires a&nbsp;<strong>DBS&nbsp;<\/strong>check.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The duties&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing the day to day of the&nbsp;<strong>purchase ledger.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Raising invoices and&nbsp;<strong>credit notes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Balance sheet&nbsp;<strong>reconciliations.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Reconciliation&nbsp;<\/strong>of cash, cheque and credit card payments.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Payment&nbsp;<\/strong>runs.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Process of credit card transactions.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Assist with&nbsp;<strong>credit control.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Prepare online&nbsp;<strong>banking payment<\/strong>s and inter company&nbsp;transfers as required and authorised.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Respond to any queries relating to the finance dept.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About you&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience of working within afull<strong>&nbsp;finance function.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Strong<strong> analytical&nbsp;<\/strong>skills and proven ability to solve problems.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Experience of using MS packages, in particular&nbsp;<strong>Excel<\/strong>&nbsp;and other finance systems.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>High level of accuracy and attention to detail.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organisational skills.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Roles you may have applied for:?<strong>Purchase Ledger,&nbsp;Assistant, Accounts Payable Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Administrator, Finance Assistant, Finance Administrator<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cherry Professional are recruiting for this opportunity on behalf of our client.
