We are also proud to be a Disability Confident employer.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for a <strong>Housing Officer <\/strong>to join our dedicated <strong> Supported Housing<\/strong> team. As a <strong>Housing Officer<\/strong>, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals and families in supported housing accommodation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Outline of key responsibilities for the Housing Officer in Supported Housing&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conducting regular support sessions with tenants to assess their individual needs and provide appropriate advice and guidance<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring housing management services are delivered effectively for supported housing properties<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with external agencies and service providers to coordinate support services for tenants<\/li>\n<li>Supporting tenants in maintaining their tenancies, including rent collection, arrears management, and tenancy sustainment<\/li>\n<li>Managing caseloads of tenants, including accurate record-keeping and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with the allocation and lettings process for supported housing properties<\/li>\n<li>Promoting community engagement and social inclusion within supported housing schemes<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out property inspections and ensuring health and safety standards are met<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>We are looking for someone who has&#8230;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Experience working in a housing management or support role, preferably within supported housing<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of relevant housing legislation and regulations<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to show empathy and work with individuals with complex needs<\/li>\n<li>Good organizational and time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team<\/li>\n<li><strong>Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>In return, we are offering the successful candidate in the&nbsp;Housing Officer role&#8230; <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Salary:&nbsp;&#163;29,582<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Annual salary increment increases<\/li>\n<li><strong>As part of hybrid working,<\/strong> you will be responsible for overseeing schemes in <strong>South Elmsall and Rotherham.<\/strong> Your <strong>typical week will involve three days spent working on-site, <\/strong>with the option to work from home for the remainder of the week.<\/li>\n<li><strong>27 days <\/strong>annual leave&nbsp;(rising to 32 over 5 years&#8217; service) &#43; <strong> bank holidays<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>A&nbsp;flexible working environment, with a range of family friendly policies<\/li>\n<li>You will be working&nbsp;37 hours per week, Monday &#8211; Friday.
