We’re a friendly family seeking a hard working, personable, professional Housekeeper\/Cook who takes pride in their work.<\/p>\n
Duties <\/strong>will include but not be limited to:<\/p>\n – all types of general cleaning<\/p>\n – deep cleaning periodically<\/p>\n -walking and feeding the families two large dogs as and when required<\/p>\n – all laundry including hand washing<\/p>\n – keeping the kitchen clean at all times and pantry well organised, cleaning up after mealtimes<\/p>\n – loading and unloading of dishwasher<\/p>\n – cleaning of floors and polishing furniture<\/p>\n -repairing of clothing\/alterations<\/p>\n – simple cooking for household and guests as and when required (batch cooking may be required too)<\/p>\n – preparing shopping list and buying grocery shopping and any other supplies required by the household as and when required<\/p>\n – shopping, running errands (Post Office, collecting medication, dry cleaners etc.)<\/p>\n – organising and dealing with tradesmen and service providers such as gardener, pool cleaners, window cleaner etc. as and when required<\/p>\n – wardrobe\/cupboard management and organisation<\/p>\n – willingness to house sit while we are travelling would be a plus as would being able to babysit during a few evenings a month (additional pay would be provided for both).<\/p>\n Location –<\/strong> New Forest<\/p>\n Hours of work<\/strong>and Salary<\/strong><\/p>\n 40 hours per week including Saturday morning 9am-1pm. Please do not apply if you are not willing to work the Saturday morning.<\/strong><\/p>\n £45- 50k dependent upon experience and skill set. Please do not apply unless you have at least 3 years of housekeeping experience in a private household.<\/strong><\/p>\n Self-employed candidates will not<\/strong><\/em> be considered.<\/p>\n Driver with their own car is essential due to the location of the property.<\/p>\n Candidate requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n This role is for someone who likes to organise their own day and can work without needing instruction but also doesn’t mind being asked to do things in a certain way. It is essential you have extensive experience in housekeeping in a busy, private family home and checkable references. A driver is essential as is an up to date DBS certificate. As you will be working in our family home it is essential you have a personable, friendly character. We have two young children, two large friendly dogs and 3 cats and so any applicants must be child and pet friendly. Any candidate must also be hard working, reliable and punctual and willing to work hard in a busy household.<\/p>\n Live out preferred but live in would be possible for an excellent candidate with many years of experience in running a busy private household. We have a small, one bedroom studio with its own separate entrance and a new bathroom and kitchen available.
