Water Hygiene Technician – Jersey – £53,000 per annum

Trevett Services have an exciting opportunity for a Water Hygiene Technician to join our client based in Jersey. This is a full time, permanent role with ample opportunity for overtime and additional hours.
Our client will assist with relocation to Jersey.

As a Water Hygiene Technician, you will be working across a variety of Commercial buildings, Schools, Local Authority and Office buildings, carrying out Legionella control measures to a high standard.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Carry out temperature monitoring and general water hygiene tasks to HSG274 standards
Collecting samples from outlets and submitting for analysis
TMV maintenance and expansion vessel flushing
Completing all relevant paperwork to the required standards
Assist co-workers and liaise with sub-contractors on site
Maintain a high standard of health and safety at all times
Qualifications Required:
Plumbing and heating qualifications
Previous experience in an FM or Engineering environment carrying out similar duties
Understanding of relevant paperwork and time allocation per job
Ability to work both individually and as part of a larger team
Strong communication skills with colleagues and clients
A full, category B driving license is essential
You will need to have an enhanced DBS check which we are able to process for you.
