Burrard Animal Hospital + Emergency is a 24-hour full service, AAHA accredited and Fear Free Certified hospital located in the picturesque Kitsilano area. Our paper reducing, state of the art hospital offers general and emergency services, a comprehensive in-house lab, ultrasound, endoscopy, digital x-ray, CT scan, Cornerstone, and Smart Flow software. We have a superior support team of technicians, veterinary assistants, and receptionists who are compassionate and trained at a very high level to assist in any way possible.
We are seeking a full-time, newly graduated or experienced veterinarian to grow with our hospital into the future. The ideal applicant will provide targeted treatment plans for our clients, build relationships through routine care with our patients, and be challenged with unique emergent cases to treat and decipher. We value the ability to communicate clearly with our clients with tact and diplomacy regarding their pet’s welfare and needs. Responsibilities:
Conduct routine examinations and vaccinations
Diagnose and treat medical conditions
Perform surgical procedures
Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide comprehensive care
Handle emergency cases and critical care situations
Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
Provincial veterinary license
New graduates or experienced veterinarians are welcome
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Dr. Dhillon, the owner of Burrard Animal Hospital + Emergency and Oak Animal Hospital is a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (canine and feline), and has been practicing in the lower mainland of British Columbia, for over 24 years. Our sister hospital, Oak Animal Hospital, opened their doors in 1999, the successful growth and client demand for more than a general practice resulted in the opening of Burrard Animal Hospital + Emergency in 2015. Dr. Dhillon is an encyclopedia of knowledge and experience.
