Role Overview: We are currently seeking experienced Vehicle Telematics Installation Engineers to join our team on a contract basis in London. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in installing and maintaining telematics equipment, with a focus on timespace devices, CCTV DVRs, display units, and related components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installations of telematics equipment on buses and coaches during night shifts.
- Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting of installed systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration of telematics solutions.
- Provide on-site support and resolve technical issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations and repairs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in installing timespace equipment on buses or coaches.
- Familiarity with CCTV DVRs, display units, and related telematics components.
- Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work night shifts on a 4 on 4 off schedule.
