Planet Recruitment have recently registered an exciting opportunity for our client based in Abingdon who are seeking a Van Driver (7.5 ton) to start on an immediate The role will be driving the van to customers properties and then to either the warehouse or their new property. Moving goods and ensuring no problems occur.
Hours are 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday (Does include overnight stays)
Main responsibilities;
- Moving goods from properties to the warehouse.
- Helping out with lifting and moving of goods
- Happy to help out in the warehouse when needed
- Be aware of personal responsibilities towards and health and safely
- Co-operating with the Line manager and site Safety Representative to promote high standards of safety
Essential experience;
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive and self-motivated with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Ability to work in busy environments
- Minimum class C1 (up to 7.5T)
- Current driver CPC
- Willingness to carry out manual tasks in loading and unloading
- Flexible approach to work required and hours
