An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established packaging company providing digitally printed flexible packaging for well-known brands and retailers. Today, they work across the food & beverage, personal & home care, horticulture and pharmaceutical markets designing solutions for labeling, folding cartons, rigid and flexible packaging applications.The equipment is the first of its type in the UK.
Role and Responsibilities
- To mind the printing press, to ensure all quality defects are identified.
- To show enthusiasm and drive, demonstrating a ‘can do’ attitude and a will to win.
- To be a team player with a will to learn.
- Inputting of data & running reports for operations.
- To work to standard operation procedures (SOP) to rectify quality issues once identified.
- To actively support the continuous improvement & H+S programs. I.E 5S, problem solving and work place organisation.
- Inputting accurate information into a Management Information System
- General machine maintenance
