About the Company
- 2Seck Recruitment Ltd are working with an established Building Contractor with a turnover of over £40 million per annum.
- They are looking to recruit a talented Trainee Estimator to join their team in High Wycombe working on projects in the Construction Industry.
- Project values are typically between £½ million – £5 million.
- The company engage in a variety of projects including Offices, Hotels & Leisure Centres.
About the Role
- Your role will be estimating and tendering on projects in the Built environment.
- You will analyse proposals, specifications, drawings, samples, and related documents, identify requirements and prepare appropriate tenders.
- You will offer technical and commercial support on projects.
- Your role will be office based and site visits when required.
About You
- Ideally you will have gained or have an interest in the construction industry.
- You have a keen interest in Estimating or seeking a career as an Estimator.
- Someone with an eye for detail and good on computer systems.
- They will support your career development through mentoring, training, and further academic training (training budget available)
- Ideally a Relevant Qualification in Construction (HND, BSc etc)
This is a trainee/entry position which does not require estimating experience. However, the client would like someone who has a demonstrated interest, passion or history in construction.
You might be a school leaver with A-Levels who would like to work and gain a Degree in Construction, this employer will actively support and sponsor you to gain further qualifications, in the past they have financially supported employees to gain their degree, whilst working full time.
You might be a tradesperson, who is looking to get off the tools and into the office.
Perhaps you have taken a construction qualification and looking to take your first steps into the Construction Industry.
You must already be in the location of High Wycombe, (within twenty miles). They are not looking at applicants who need to relocate.
