A rare opportunity has arisen to join a vibrant and welcoming specialist school. We are currently seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant for a full-time position, focusing on supporting a learners on a 1:1 basis.
The role is required during term time only, requiring availability from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday.
Your role would include providing support both inside and outside the classroom, including participation in extracurricular activities. With approximately 75 pupils registered, this school is a popular choice within the local community. Working closely with the dedicated teachers and staff, you’ll provide essential support to students with varying needs. Key Skills and Experience Needed:
- Empathy, resilience, and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn
- Experience with SEN/SEMH is desirable but not essential
- Own transport due to location
- GCSE Maths and English grade C or equivalent
- DBS on the update service desireable
