Educate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible within a mainstream Primary School in Barnet.

About the School:
- A lovely primary school, rated ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted
- With a core aim to advance pupil development in a setting different from the traditional classroom, offering much smaller pupil numbers and including regular pastoral support.
- Good public transport links and nearby parking
About the role:
- Immediate start with trials arranged within the next week.
- Working hours 8:30 to 3:30
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
- Supervise and provide support for pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
- Establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs.
- Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
Teaching Assistant Specification:
- Previous experience of working in a school environment (desirable)
- A valid enhanced DBS certificate
- Understanding of relevant policies/code of practice and awareness of relevant legislation
- Good knowledge of safeguarding.
- Confident/experienced in delivering group sessions.
