A highly established and award winning Top 75 Accounting Practice is recruiting for a Tax Investigations Manager (Dispute and Resolution) to join their established team in Central London.

A highly established and award winning Top 75 Accounting Practice is recruiting for a Tax Investigations Manager (Dispute and Resolution) to join their established team in Central London.

You will be involved in a very broad spectrum of Tax Risk and Dispute Resolution work for both Private individuals and Corporate clients. This is a client facing where you will actively be involved in advisory work, as well as supporting business development initiatives, marketing and onboarding new clients.

As the Tax Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Manage the everyday running of investigations or disclosures for a portfolio of clients
  • Drafting letters, disclosures and reports to HMRC
  • Calculating tax, interest and penalties due and payable covering a number of taxes including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and corporation tax as well as NIC
  • Responsible for communication with the HMRC such as negotiating settlements, voluntary disclosures, and attending meetings
  • Managing the fee quote and budget for engagements
  • Become a key business partner with the wider Tax team and other internal departments
  • Active attendance in client meetings, business development and marketing initiatives

You may be moving straight from HMRC or Accounting Practice, or have experience in both, and might hold an Accounting or Tax qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CTA, ATT (though not absolutory necessary) or be qualified by experience.

Benefits include 25 days + BH, core working hours, flexible/agile working, and a contracted 35 hour work week.
