Description
Manage and oversee the entire supply chain department
Implement effective procurement strategies
Monitor operational performance and implement improvements
Optimisation of business processes associated with the control of inventories, WIP and supply to manufacturing
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
Manage budgeting and forecasting for the department
Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals
Drive the company’s sustainability efforts within the supply chain
Profile
Proven experience in managing supply chains in the manufacturing industry
Strong understanding of supply chain processes
Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
Ability to develop and sustain a high performing team
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Proficient with ERP & relevant systems to support all aspects of planning, procurement, warehouse & distribution management
