A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Finance Manager to join a fast-growing FMCG business based in West London. This role offers hybrid working options and significant exposure to senior stakeholders.
The Supply Chain Finance Manager Supply Chain will be responsible for overseeing the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to support decision making, identify risks and opportunities, and drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and provide the Supply Chain team with a full collection of reports and performance monitoring of inventory at a variety of levels (Category to SKUs).
- Provide data to support root cause analysis, lead and carry out business process reviews and re-engineer to enhance the supply chain.
- Present and publish all data clearly and accurately to enable informed business decision making.
- Analyse KPIs highlighting trends to the team and identify exceptions and ensure commentary shared with key stakeholders in Supply Chain.
- Highlight any areas of risk and opportunity to enhance Supply Chain control.
- Propose targets for KPIs, agree these with Supply Chain management and communicate to the team.
- Lead the annual inventory budgeting process and quarterly budget/forecast reviews
- Establish and maintain standard costing for products and regularly review and update as needed.
- Provide timely and accurate cost information to support decision-making by management.
- Implement and monitor financial controls to enhance factory efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to optimize operational costs.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs), to management.
- Analyse SKU-level profitability and contribute to product pricing strategies.
- Work closely with production and sales teams to ensure that the product mix aligns with profitability goals.
- Develop and maintain reports to track SKU performance over time and make data-driven recommendations.
- Work closely with the production & logistics teams to identify areas of improvement and drive growth.
- Work closely with New Product teams to ensure accurate costing of new products during the development phase, guiding towards cost effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial plans to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- 5 years+ experience in Supply Chain, Finance or Business Analysis roles, ideally within a retail or FMCG business
- Experience of Supply Chain industry metrics
- Analytical with high degree of numeracy and accuracy
- Good commercial awareness
- Good communication
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and SAP
